MARS PLUTO NATAL ASPECTS

Topic of this post is about natal aspects of planets Mars and Pluto. And you may have already read or heard somewhere that these are some of the most difficult natal aspects. This is true, but I must remind you that whatever you have in your natal chart is good for you. You need it in this incarnation!

However, when we are born with these aspects, we often have impression that something is not right. Energy in us is separated, as if it has somehow moved away. Also, energy could feel frozen or person has impression that part of energy has gone somewhere far away. Until we get this energy back, we need lot of effort to achieve our goals and desires.

Mars in natal chart

Mars in natal chart, with energy of first house and sign of Aries, will show how we behave. It will show what actions we take and what results we achieve. Relationship of Mars to other planets, regardless of whether there is aspect or not, will show how much energy is really available to us.

Negative experiences always ask us to adapt. And if we don’t want to, we will feel blocked or confused about what needs to be done. Should I do this or give up? We will ask ourselves again and again and spend many years of life being confused.

Pluto in natal chart

Part of us seems to be working against us because Pluto represents deep drive and energy that will block, slow and delay manifestation no matter how hard we try. Pluto will show situations in which we must become aware of something that is dormant in us. We need to accept that it is us who prevent success.

We will have to strengthen our will and perseverance if we want to achieve at least something we have planned. However, this could be accompanied by various emotional shocks. These intense situations indicate patterns of behaviour that violently remove opportunities to make space. Something else has to be brought into consciousness first.

Person with strong aspect of Mars and Pluto may be constantly faced with losses, abandonment or death of loved ones, illness or other life emergencies. Feeling of stagnation and frequent obstacles that cause strong resistance are there to recognize fear that keeps natal energy frozen and unavailable. It is certainly necessary to pay attention to which house Pluto comes from and take into account aspects and their orb (5 at most).

Mars opposition Pluto (applicative)

Mars applicative opposition Pluto represents problems throughout most of life. Person feels torn between different forces and aspirations that seek their own space. We may have strong need to get rid of something or someone who is forcing something on us we do not want, too. Difficulties characterize love relationships no matter how hard we try.

We may feel that the only thing we can do is break up and withdraw from relationship that has been so intense that we have lost ourselves. Problem is that we are disconnected within ourselves, so we create problem for ourselves. We are under influence of other people’s energies, which overwhelms us so much that we no longer know what our needs and desires are. We attach our value to how other person reacts to us.

As long as we feel that they we lost ourselves after a breakup, we remain confused. It will seem to us that we are alone against everyone and we will rush into new relationship to ease the pain. We must find healthy balance between togetherness and solitude. As long as we are not in balance with that, imbalance in relationships will follow us. We will spend energy on trying to make things work, even though we should be directing this energy elsewhere.

Mars opposition Pluto (separating)

Mars separating opposition Pluto implies that we will learn to connect with others and be equal. We will learn to listen to environment and open ourselves to energy of others. One of lessons with this aspect is that by cooperating with others we rebuild ourselves.

However, we can stay in past ruins for years and repeatedly have confrontations as if everyone is against us. Yet we are the one working against ourselves. In this way, we lose ourselves and thus control over ourselves fade, too. Distrust and desire to dominate others prevent us from looking at things level-headed.

Conflicting needs lead us to make choice either to stay where we are or thrive when we open up to environment. Cooperation with others is being learned throughout life. We have to trust that right people and circumstances will appear to help us even though it may not be pleasant or the way we want it to be.

Mars inconjunct Pluto

Mars inconjunct Pluto is about need to adapt and understand what we can and cannot do. We do not know how to open up to needs of environment and always cause conflict when it is not according to our needs. We may face limitations on what we can achieve in this incarnation. We learn humility and cleanse ourselves of old energy.

We were forced to adapt to other people’s customs, rules and laws, especially if we had egocentric tendencies. Our awareness is formed through recognition that we need to take different path to discover ourselves, even though we didn’t plan it that way. It is emphasized that we have to discover parts of ourselves through overcoming conflicts with environment.

Conflicts will slow us down until we “come down to earth”. This will be followed by confusion and need to find deeper meaning. We feel that special destiny awaits us, but we don’t know how to reach it. When we learn to serve others and overcome ego conflict, materialization of plan is achieved.

Mars square Pluto (separating)

Mars separating square Pluto shows tension that exists between desire to move forward and fear that progress implies. We remain in the past and old behaviour not knowing how to change.

Everything in our being is against past, but that’s all we know. Crisis accompanies us with need to experience something extraordinary and create new life reality. We have impression of fate shaping our life not the way we would like. Strong memories from past lives where things did not turn out well for us will come in form of people and emotions in this incarnation.

Mars square Pluto (applicative)

Mars applicative square Pluto is an active crisis and unconscious fear. We are afraid and do not know how to move forward, so we are pulled back. There is constant struggle in us that we want to somehow separate ourselves from because we are tired.

We need to learn to trust ourselves and our energy. Physical body will show us whether we should wait or move forward. As long as we fight against our energy, we will experience loss.

Mars conjunct Pluto

Mars conjunct Pluto is a very instinctive energy that is directed towards completely new desires. We have need for various unusual experiences. Our activities and how we react to environment help us gain experience and knowledge in this life. We may constantly need to let go of past and what was once true.

Fear of repeating past mistakes leads us to situations where we will strive for freedom. Other people will provide us with necessary feedback, as they know more than us. We should learn to listen to them and start something new only when we integrate this external knowledge.

New spontaneous cycle can be blocked when we doesn’t check the facts and just moves forward naively. If we do not accept opinion of people who are part of our life, we will have challenges according to sign and house where conjunction occurs.

Mars trine Pluto

Mars trine Pluto indicates strong self-awareness and ability to manifest goals and desires. We understand what and when to do and that action is accompanied by ease. Our actions are integrated with idea of ourselves and our life. We may occasionally face environmental resistance and blockages.

Sometimes we won’t understand why things don’t go forward as this aspect requires effort, too. However, trine easily leads to person who recoils from any form of effort. Then they will struggle and give up, thinking that it is okay as it is, even though it could be much better. They see that potential, but rarely do they really materialize it in this life.

Mars sextile Pluto

Mars sextile Pluto means understanding these two energies and accepting ourselves. We understand what is necessary and what is not, so we know what to do. We understand problems from our past and have learned to overcome them.

We understand choices we need to make to make our wishes come true. When challenges arise, something from past is still not integrated. Something no longer serves us, although it may have helped us once. We have to let it go and open up to intuitive action.
