Chakra system
In order to understand your natal chart, we must take into account 7 chakras. That is an energy center which directly affect us and we affect it, too. It is by changing its state that we can change the way natal chart energy flows, because everything is connected. Also, people you are in contact with have an impact on your chakras with their energy and vice versa.
Too much energy in one chakra will lead to collapse of entire system if energy is not adequately channeled. For example, imagine a person who is beautiful and rich, but not healthy. It cannot be said that this person has learned to channel and properly use natal chart energy. Something is wrong there. Second chakra may be working too much to detriment of the first and third chakras. Therefore, all chakras need to be balanced and “the same size”.
Chakra 1&2
When you connect planets, sign, houses and area that is critical, which chakra completes the whole story for you?
The first chakra is associated with sense of security, grounding showing material opportunities, events and life circumstances. It represents solid foundation for all other chakras, similar to house foundations. It is connected to Saturn for structure and Mars for survival instincts. If this chakra is not centered, we live in a world that is not realistic or secure. In that case, it is difficult for us to build something stable and long-lasting.
This chakra teaches us to accept limitations and we strengthen it through grounding rituals. Energy of Aries and Scorpio is connected to it, the first and eighth houses and all themes that cause fear. It answers question of whether you live, survive or thrive. Physical exercise combined with enough sleep contributes to its balance.
The second chakra is connected to relationships with others. It is fluid, mobile part that leads to yin energy and Moon, essential for water element. Water rituals are beneficial for its regeneration and resolution of all themes that cause guilt. It tends to provide pleasure and enjoyment, but if it is overactivated or if emotion is blocked in it, then it is out of balance.
It is also connected to Venus, because it regulates emotional connection with others and indulgence in relationships. The energy of Taurus and Libra is connected to it, as are the second and seventh houses. Hobbies that you enjoy (painting, drawing, singing, acting) as well as exercises that move the pelvis, or salsa and belly dancing contribute to its balance.
Chakra 3&4
The third chakra is connected to personal identity and desire to achieve something in all areas of life. It is equivalent to Sun, although it can be connected to the energy of Mars. This is necessary to achieve something concrete in life. It represents strength and level of self-esteem corresponding to fire element of fire (fire rituals are recommended for it).
What hinders it is sense of shame, pride, overly expressed ego and inferiority. This can manifest as exhaustion and lack of will. Leo energy is associated with this chakra, the fifth house and developing courage.
The fourth chakra is associated with love, Venus, establishing relationships of boundless love with others. It corresponds to element of air and healing of painful emotions, sadness and apathy. If it is closed, it can neither receive nor give love. According to some systems, it is associated with Moon. It represents capacity for love that we received during childhood which we reactivate in relationships with others.
Energy of Cancer is associated with it, as is the fourth house. Emotion of sadness is destructive and weakens this chakra. Through breathing exercises we can influence its opening. Volunteering and everything that involves other people can be beneficial for its balance.
Chakra 5&6
The fifth chakra is associated with Mercury and ability to communicate clearly. It shows willingness to say NO and YES, when we mean it and to express our creativity. This is one of basic channels of energy flow that we are often unaware of. If all previous chakras are not centered and balanced, what is unwanted but spoken comes from unfulfilled needs and dissatisfaction.
Energy of Gemini and Virgo is connected to this chakra, the third and sixth houses, while lies and manipulation close and block it. Sound rituals can help to bring this chakra into balance and learning speaking skills.
The sixth chakra is connected to energy of Jupiter and Neptune. It represents area of clairvoyance and intuition, inner voice, communication with angels and spirit guides. If previous chakras are not centered, it leads to psychological problems and irrationality.
This chakra is hindered by life full of illusions and ignoring messages we receive from unconscious. It is connected to energy of Sagittarius and Pisces, the ninth and twelfth house. To balance this chakra, it is good to keep a dream journal and meditate.
Chakra 7
The seventh chakra is connected to principle of Uranus, but also Saturn. It speaks of overcoming this incarnation, physical body and material world. This chakra strives for freedom, movement of kundalini energy and raising consciousness. Fatigue and stiffness in physical sense and attitudes that do not evolve have a negative effect on it. It is considered that access to this chakra is dangerous if we have not fully mastered lessons of all previous chakras and if we are not well grounded.
It is connected to energy of Capricorn and Aquarius, the tenth and eleventh house. Constant repetition of bad decisions and uncertainty about life path hinder this it. Work on getting rid of karma and spiritual awakening have beneficial effect on it. Phobias and irrational fears are stored at this level and provide possibility of resolution in this incarnation.
The ways of grounding each chakra and its energy will be discussed throughout my next posts and it is something we can cover during your natal chart analysis.
